Āmēn explora cómo, para los jóvenes, la institución religiosa ha perdido su papel como núcleo comunitario, transformando la fe en una experiencia fragmentada e individual. La autora se encontró con diferentes jóvenes en sus espacios espirituales íntimos, ofreciendo una visión compartida de una generación que se siente sola en su oración. Para muchos jóvenes hoy, la religión ya no es un refugio seguro heredado pasivamente, sino un terreno de confrontación donde el miedo al juicio impulsa un distanciamiento protector, junto a una necesidad visceral de encontrar una luz interior y un sentido profundo a la existencia.

 

The Searchlights is the second chapter of Ti vorrei dire, a three-year project developed in collaboration with Gallerie d'Italia - Torino, a part of Intesa Sanpaolo. The projects map out the urgencies of our time through the perspective of a new generation. Ecological and climate crises, dynamics of power and representation, identity, mental health, precarity, memory and narratives of the present run through the works, shaping a collective account that restores complexity to what is too often reduced to a label.
